One of the earlier, pre-V-ray, lame attempts on making something remotely close to actual 3D art
Both setting up and rendering done in a few hours. Used only 3ds max 2010 if I recall correctly (it's an old pic). Used scanline renderer.
The scene is just a bunch of ChamferBoxes with a metal-ish standard material on them surrounded by a couple of omny lights. Go figure. The schmexy text on the side added via Adobe Photoshop
